After archaeologists have discovered remains on Groningen’s oldest former Jewish cemetery ‘Jodenkamp’ (1750) the remains are reburied on another cemetery in the city. Everything took place under the supervision of Rabbi Shmuel Spiero. I was delegated by the Jewish Community Groningen to photograph the excavation and reburial. A small selection can be seen in my Portfolio – Religion.
